Life and Death presents Luke Alessi’s new single ‘After Five’

Luke Alessi has released his latest single, ‘After Five,’ now available on DJ Tennis’ Life and Death label. This track previews his upcoming 4-track EP, set for release in both vinyl and digital formats in 2025. The EP will feature two remixes and showcase dreamy designs by Studio Balcony.

‘After Five’ blends eras and genres, fusing the exuberance of a 1920s cocktail party with the groove of 1970s funk and disco. The result is a hypnotic journey guided by Barry White-esque vocals, evoking sensuality and uninhibited joy. Alessi describes the track as an invitation to feel “sexy, groovy, and a little bit wild.”

A familiar name in the Life and Death label family, Luke Alessi’s sound defies conventional genre classifications. This versatility has earned him collaborations with artists such as Chloe Caillet, Carlita, and Rüfüs Du Sol.
