Liverpool’s upcoming Rave On exhibition will showcase the city’s iconic ’80s and ’90s acid house and rave culture. Opening in January 2025, this immersive experience offers a nostalgic journey through the city’s mesmerizing club scene of that era.

Curated by Ezra McConachie and photographer Mark McNulty, Rave On aims to capture a transformative period in music and youth culture. The Museum of Youth Culture supports this project, recognizing its significance in preserving Liverpool’s vibrant history.

The exhibition will feature memorabilia, photos, and archives documenting Liverpool’s evolving nightlife. Visitors can explore the city’s rave scene, from underground warehouse parties to legendary clubs that shaped a generation.

McConachie has issued an open call for contributions, inviting former clubbers to share personal artifacts and memories. This collaborative approach enriches the exhibition, ensuring a diverse representation of the rave movement.

To participate, submit photos and memorabilia through the Museum of Youth Culture website.
