ZUSO and Cleopold kick off the Australian summer with ‘High Above’

Australian producer Gabriel Cuenca, known professionally as ZUSO, has teamed up with Melbourne-born, Los Angeles-based artist Cleopold to release ‘High Above’—a vibrant melodic house track that captures the euphoric energy of the season. The single is now available via LOVE CLVB.

ZUSO conceptualized the track over a year ago, but it truly came to life when Cleopold joined. Their collaboration quickly transformed ‘High Above’ into a notable piece, perfectly timed with the start of the Australian summer.

ZUSO reflects on the creative process: “I’ve been sitting on this one for a while now and am finally happy it’s out in the world. It’s been just over a year since I first started the idea. We went through so many different versions and sample ideas, but eventually, we decided to add vocals. George and I started working together at the start of the year to wrap it all up. His vocal took the track to another level, and I’m super stoked with how it turned out! It’s the perfect song to kick off the summer. Hope you enjoy it.”

Cleopold shares his experience: “I had fun singing on Zuso’s beat and whipping up an arrangement with him on the phone. The track came together seamlessly, and I found it easy to jump on the mic with such a light and textural chord progression.”
