Listen to Reznik & Mikesh’s new release ‘One And Only’

Keinemusik mainstay Reznik reunites with longtime collaborator Mikesh for ‘One And Only,’ a deeply expressive two-track release that showcases the duo’s evolving sonic chemistry.

Out now via Keinemusik, the EP features an original version built around a classic song structure and a piano-led arrangement, with Mikesh’s vocals front and center. A club mix follows, translating the emotion into a driving dancefloor cut.

Speaking on the duality of the release, Reznik explains “‘One and Only (Original)’ is a very emotive piece that we realised would rather go into song than track-territory… We failed miserably to incorporate Mikesh’s vocals [into the club mix], which is a real bummer… We had a bit of a Lil’ Louis ‘French Kiss’ moment when recording the bass line for the club mix.”

Having collaborated on labels like Keinemusik and Permanent Vacation, Reznik & Mikesh are known for their groove-meets-emotion style. Reznik, a Keinemusik founder, has remixed notable artists like Moby and Tiga & Hudson Mohawke.

Reznik’s upcoming tour includes Pulse Munich (April 12), fabric London (May 16), Wonderland Festival Hamburg (June 27), Aero Festival Bern (June 28), Grasslands Munich (July 5), and Keinemusik’s homecoming at Tempelhof Berlin (August 23). Tickets are available here.
