Lauer joins EG Podcast with genre-spanning session

Lauer joins the EG Podcast series with his EG.1068 installment, now available on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. The mix arrives alongside the release of his remix of Thaddeus X’s ‘Club Safari,’  out via Emerald and Doreen.

“This mix contains some new and upcoming releases and remixes, plus some recent discoveries in the world of music. Not necessarily peak time club vibes. Not necessarily not. 99.9 percent, depending on your definition of what that means. Hope you enjoy,” says Lauer. The session moves across a broad spectrum, balancing fresh material with lesser-known cuts, reflecting his open-ended approach to selection.

Philipp Lauer has built a catalog spanning more than two decades. Since his debut 12” in 2000, the Frankfurt-based artist has developed a reputation for consistent studio output and stylistic range. As CEO of Pyramide II, he has delivered over 200 remixes for artists including Sven Väth, Pet Shop Boys, M83, S Express, Falco, and Tears For Fears. His solo work has appeared on Running Back, Permanent Vacation, Beats In Space, LARJ, and Futureboogie, while projects such as Tuff City Kids, Black Spuma, and TNP highlight his collaborative side.
