Thaddeus X shares ‘Club Safari’ featuring Lauer and Iván Smoka’s remixes

Thaddeus X has released his latest project, ‘Club Safari,’ via the Emerald & Doreen Records imprint. The six-track EP marks a significant addition to the label’s catalog, focusing on high-energy indie dance and peak-time club structures.

The release features two high-profile remixes. Lauer provides a melodic interpretation of the title track, maintaining the original’s drive while adding a polished synth edge. Additionally, Ivan Smoka contributes a rework of ‘Overtaking,’ slowing the tempo to emphasize a darker, tension-filled atmosphere suitable for late-night sets.

The original tracks showcase Thaddeus X’s range, from the raw, high-speed energy of ‘Overtaking’ to the direct dancefloor force of the closing track, ‘Nuclear Power.’ In contrast, ‘Nine Lives’ offers a shift in pace, utilizing slower rhythms and breakbeat elements to create a more experimental, dreamlike mood within the collection.

The Berlin-based label Emerald & Doreen is known for its eclectic approach to indie dance and nu-disco, providing a fitting platform for this multifaceted release.
