Carl Cox to debut new ‘Evolution’ live show at Ultra 2025

DJ and producer Carl Cox is set to debut his innovative ‘Evolution’ live show at Ultra Music Festival’s 25th anniversary in 2025. The festival runs from March 28th to 30th at Bayfront Park, Downtown Miami.

The ‘Evolution’ show features Cox performing entirely live, using a sophisticated blend of hardware and software to craft and manipulate sounds in real time. This departure from traditional DJ sets promises unprecedented spontaneity and energy.

“This is something I’ve been planning for a long time, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring it to life. I promised you all something special in honor of their 25th anniversary, and this is it!” Cox stated.

Cox’s ‘Evolution’ set headlines the inaugural ‘Carl Cox Invites’ stage at the Resistance MegaStructure, showcasing electronic music innovators. The lineup includes Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin presenting ‘DEX EFX X0X’, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn, Dubfire’s ‘EVOLV’, Marc Romboy, and a special back-to-back performance by Carl Cox and Christopher Coe.
