Darren Emerson revisits ‘Dark and Long’ with 2026 remake

Darren Emerson has released a new 2026 remake of ‘Dark and Long (Dark Train)’ through his Detone imprint.

The release returns Emerson to a track connected to his history with Underworld and updates it for a new edition more than three decades after its original era.

Emerson has worked across electronic music as a DJ, producer, remixer, label owner, and promoter for over 30 years. His career includes his time with Underworld, performances on major festival stages, international residencies, mix compilations, and an extensive remix catalog.
