Berlin-based DJ and producer John Falke joins the EG After series with his debut mix, now available on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
Crafted as a late-night journey, the session explores tension, groove, and contrast through intricate rhythms and atmospheric layers, offering an unfiltered glimpse into his sound shaped by Berlin’s underground scene.
The tracklist includes music by Modeselektor, Dayzero, Brenda, Roska, Blawan, Everything Is Recorded featuring Noah Cyrus and Bill Callahan, PHON.O, Surusinghe, Sobolik, DJ POLO, SMIFF, John Falke, Aleksandir, Scratcha DVA featuring Trim and Mxshi Mo, PLUS ONE, and Verraco with MC Yallah, blending percussive grit, bass pressure, and atmospheric movement across the mix.
Originally from Northern Germany, John Falke began producing and DJing while developing a sound that bridges precision with feeling. His move to Berlin in 2016 marked a creative turning point, leading to his debut EP on Adana Twins’ TAU label in 2019. Since then, he has released and remixed on respected imprints including Innervisions, steadily building a reputation within Europe’s electronic music community.
