LCD Soundsystem releases new single ‘X-Ray Eyes’, confirms studio album

LCD Soundsystem has officially released their new single, ‘X-Ray Eyes’, confirming it as the first track from an upcoming fifth studio album.

The track, which debuted as a worldwide exclusive on NTS Radio on October 22nd, initially sparked speculation about a completed album. However, the band has since clarified on Instagram that while the album is in progress, it’s not yet finished. Frontman James Murphy stated, “Don’t ask me when that is, because we’re still working on it.” 

The band confirmed that the only official way to purchase a physical copy of the single currently is through their upcoming NYC and LA shows or via a limited run held by DFA.
