François X has just released ‘Straight Edge Society’—a sonic manifesto for clarity and empowerment. This four-track EP is now available via his own XX LAB imprint.

‘Straight Edge Society’ explores “raw motion”—creating without external distractions. François sees techno as a ritual of emotional transcendence, inviting listeners to find empowerment and purpose through sound.

The EP features four distinct tracks showcasing the French artist’s vision. ‘Got Me Overnight’ combines chopped vocals with club energy, while ‘Unpolarized’ offers hypnotic minimalism. ‘Certified DNA’ blends lush pads with textured beats, and ‘Raw Motion’ closes with a Chicago house-inspired groove.

Each track invites listeners to find clarity through sound, as François X explores music as a path to self-reflection. Rather than following strict rules, the EP creates space for personal empowerment through conscious listening.

“This isn’t about rejecting the world,” François explains, “It’s about embracing clarity in the chaos. Through music, we can create moments of pure focus—temporary, but transformative.”
