LCD Soundsystem surprised fans with ‘X-Ray Eyes,’ their first new single since 2017’s ‘American Dream.’ The track debuted on October 22nd during NTS Radio’s Soup To Nuts show, hosted by DJ anu.

The premiere of ‘X-Ray Eyes’ follows LCD Soundsystem’s busy touring schedule. During the radio show, DJ anu teased listeners, promising that the song ‘will be dropping soon’—hinting at an imminent official release.

Since their 2017 album ‘American Dream,’ LCD Soundsystem has kept busy with remixes, live recordings, and film soundtrack contributions. Their most recent release before ‘X-Ray Eyes’ was ‘New Body Rhumba,’ featured in the 2022 film ‘White Noise.’ The band has primarily focused on live performances, including residencies in major cities and the release of ‘Electric Lady Sessions,’ a live studio album.

Anticipation builds for ‘X-Ray Eyes’ as LCD Soundsystem prepares for their US tour starting October 31st, 2024.
