Skrillex released his new dubstep demo ‘Scut’ through his newsletter. The track samples the viral ‘This mf just cut the sky!’ video from 2021.

Following his previous email-exclusive ‘Bibi’s Tower’, this release continues Skrillex’s direct connection with fans. He shared the track with a simple greeting from his LA mixing room, furthering his personal approach to fan engagement.

This release comes as Skrillex plans to leave Atlantic Records after one final project. The artist has shown excitement about going independent, hinting at more direct fan releases to come.
