Maria Nocheydia joins the EG Podcast series

Maria Nocheydia presents her latest contribution to the EG’s mix series with EG.1010, now streaming on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.

The session features a carefully curated selection of tracks from Sisterhood, Bicep, Xique-Xique, and Christopher Schwarzwälder, along with works by ABEL, Whodamanny, Cinthie, and Deer Jade. The tracklist includes legendary artists Art Department, Soul Clap, DJ Harvey, and Madonna, alongside Nocheydia’s own productions.

“For this mix, I started with slower, deeper tracks to get you in the mood for dancing. Whether you’re shaking it out in your living room, at a small gathering, or just driving in your car, the idea is to get you moving,” says Maria Nocheydia.

Nocheydia began her DJ career at 17 in Mexico City, securing a CSRhodesia residency in 2012. By 2020, she was touring professionally and performing on the Mayan Warrior Soundsystem, where she became known for her skillful genre-blending style.

She has performed at major venues including EDC, Circoloco, and Hï Ibiza, while releasing music on Rose Avenue Records and other notable labels. Following her recent collaboration with Abel on Chambord’s Around Midnight, she will open for Keinemusik at Zamna in Tulum on January 13.
