Mind Against & CAY reunite for ‘CAN’T U HEAR ME / TRUST’

 Mind Against teams up once again with rising producer and vocalist CAY for the ‘CAN’T U HEAR ME / TRUST’ EP, the latest release on their HABITAT label.

On ‘CAN’T U HEAR ME’, Mind Against and CAY merge raw intensity with euphoria, stretching the emotional boundaries of techno. Deep, sustaining piano keys, rousing pads, and floating melodies create a cinematic soundscape, while CAY’s raspy, heartfelt vocals cut through with commanding force, culminating in a show-stopping drop.

The EP’s second track, ‘TRUST’, showcases the trio’s in-studio synergy, translating into a fluid creative exchange. A heady blend of analogue synths soaked in hardware reverb sets the tone, while pitched-up vocal phrases add a layer of drama. Shuffling, groove-infused drums replace traditional melodic techno rhythms, lending the track a distinctive character and swing.

This release follows the success of ‘FLORAL’ and is a landmark 2024 for the Berlin-based Italian duo, Mind Against. Their HABITAT show, featuring the now-iconic LED ring lighting, The Orbital, has toured globally to sold-out audiences.
