Monolink strips down ‘Mesmerized’ in intimate acoustic rendition

German artist Monolink has released an acoustic version of his recent hit ‘Mesmerized,’ offering a stripped-down yet moving reinterpretation of the original composition. The new rendition, available through Embassy One, showcases the artist’s versatility and musical depth.

This acoustic version highlights German artist’s songwriting by removing electronic elements. The blend of acoustic guitar, piano, and vocals creates an intimate atmosphere that explores themes of love, connection, and vulnerability.

“I wanted to reimagine ‘Mesmerized’ in a way that brings out its core emotion. By taking it back to its acoustic roots, the song transforms into something more vulnerable and intimate — a reflection of the human condition in its simplest form,” explains Monolink.

Filmed in the historic Cathedral Recording Studios in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the accompanying music video captures an intimate performance. Director Benji Saul weaves together raw emotion and artistic authenticity, featuring collaborations with pianist Anja Lotta and keyboardist Toby Siebert.
