Bloc has announced its return with a 20th anniversary reunion scheduled for Saturday, March 6th, 2027, at The Cause in London’s Docklands. The event will bring together artists and collectives associated with the festival’s history, marking a decade since its final Weekender.

Founded in 2007 at Pontins Hemsby in Norfolk, Bloc became a fixture in the UK’s electronic music calendar before relocating to Butlins Minehead. Following its  festival edition in 2012, the organizers developed an East London club under the same name, which operated for eight years.

The event will run from 2 PM until 6 AM, with Jeff Mills leading the first lineup announcement. Having performed more headline sets at Bloc than any other artist, the Detroit techno pioneer returns alongside Egyptian Lover, who will deliver a rare live performance.

Also confirmed are Surgeon and Regis, reuniting as British Murder Boys for a live set. Leftfield will make their first appearance at Bloc, with Neil Barnes performing a DJ set.

Tama Sumo and Lakuti will return for a back-to-back session, continuing their association with the festival and its former Autumn Street club. The lineup also includes DJ Storm B2B Tasha, Miss Djax performing an all-vinyl acid set, and Steve Davis alongside Kavus Torabi.

Several collectives connected to Bloc’s history will also participate. I Love Acid, Plex, and Chapter 10 are confirmed, while Telepathic Fish will host a dedicated chill-out room.

Reflecting on the reunion, Bloc founders Alex Benson and George Hull explained the decision to bring the event back. “No one planned for this. We didn’t see it coming. But it turns out it was just what we, and you, needed. Twenty years since the first Bloc Weekender feels like the perfect time to reconnect, listen to some repetitive beats and dance our heads off until daybreak with the friends we made a lifetime ago.”

The organizers also revealed that more than 1,000 people signed up when the event initially went on sale. Further artist announcements are expected ahead of the reunion.
