Soul Clap will continue as a solo project led by Charles Levine following the departure of co-founder Eli Goldstein.

The announcement marks a structural shift for the underground house project formed in 2001. Levine will manage future music releases under the Soul Clap name and his own moniker, maintaining the project’s established presence in dance music.

Goldstein is stepping away from the collaboration to focus on environmental initiatives. Operating under the DJ E-Cology alias, he will direct his focus toward the Future Sound Of Nature festival, a related record label, a Lot Radio residency, and House of EFUNK events.

The duo will perform their final collaborative set together this weekend.

The event takes place on September 26 at Public Records in New York.
