Jalmar and Pinky Promise bring Latin club energy to ‘Badina’

The track blends Dembow, Caribbean, Latin urban, and Shatta-inspired rhythms.

Jalmar and Pinky Promise have released ‘Badina’, a collaborative single drawing from their Australian, Chilean, and Venezuelan backgrounds.

The track combines Dembow, Caribbean, and Latin urban influences with Shatta-inspired rhythms, pairing punchy percussion with a club-focused approach built around energy and movement.

The title ‘Badina’ is a playful twist on “bad Latina,” reflecting the attitude and character at the centre of the track. Jalmar set out to make something fun and designed to bring people together.

‘Badina’ also continues Jalmar and Pinky Promise’s ongoing collaboration. The pair are developing a shared Latin urban sound that draws from their different backgrounds, connecting Latin America and Australia through their music.

The track was co-written and produced by Jalmar Leficura and Jonathan Lovera Serrano. Lovera Serrano also handled mixing and mastering, while the artwork was created by Leficura.
