KOKO Electronic has unveiled its AW26 season at KOKO, bringing an extensive electronic music programme to the London venue through the end of 2026 and into New Year’s Day.
The programme arrives as part of KOKO’s 125th anniversary year and launches alongside a new campaign film directed by Eoin Glaister and produced by Stink UK. Centred on a fictional kebab shop, the campaign depicts music fans through different eras and features DJ Boring in a cameo as a punk rocker.
Across the season, artists perform in the round from the centre of the Victorian theatre, while selected events extend backstage into The House of KOKO through talks, workshops, recording sessions, and other programming.
Following DESIREE, Benji B, and Charisse C on September 26th, October includes Green Velvet, Oscar Mbo, Swimming Paul, Hernán Cattáneo, and Michael Bibi, who makes his KOKO debut on October 17th.
On October 24th, Shanti Celeste leads a full KOKO takeover spanning the Theatre and The House of KOKO. Shanti Celeste, Leon Vynehall, and Danielle perform in the main Theatre, while Peach Discs hosts Room 2. Backstage activity includes a Milly On Air podcast talk show, a Saffron workshop with Daisy Moon, and free music production masterclasses presented by Black Artist Database with NIKS, rRoxymore, and Mason Maynard.
November sees Francis Mercier host three Theatre shows from November 20th–22nd, alongside a Soley FC vs KOKO FC football match in Hackney Wick. WhoMadeWho then take over KOKO on November 27th and 28th, presenting a live show on the first night and a hybrid DJ set on the second.
December includes Chris Stassy on December 4th and Femi Koleoso’s Situation Dance on December 20th, followed by a two-day Marco Carola takeover on December 26th and 27th. Artwork leads the New Year’s Eve lineup with Make A Dance, David Bay, Arnie Wrong, and Sue Veneers. On January 1st, Z UNCUT takes over the venue during the daytime before East End Dubs and Ryan Nicholls step in that evening.
The season forms part of a year marking 125 years since KOKO first opened as the Camden Theatre in 1900. The venue underwent a £70 million transformation in 2022 and now operates its electronic programme around a 1,500-capacity Theatre alongside The House of KOKO.
