Wax Poetics has launched an auction featuring rare tapes, demos, and early recordings connected to artists including Moby, Depeche Mode, and Eminem.

Among the items is a DJ demo cassette by Moby, which the artist gave to musician and actress Dylan Hundley at a party between 1987 and 1988. The cassette currently sells for $700.

The collection also includes a Maxell MS-60 demo tape of  Depeche Mode music. Dated to 1996, it contains early versions of material that later appeared on the band’s 1997 album, ‘Ultra’.

An original vinyl copy of Eminem’s 1996 debut album, ‘Infinite’, is also included. The record was given to Detroit-based DJ Babe by Eminem in the year of its release and is currently priced at $1,200.

The auction closes at 9 PM BST on Thursday, October 8. Browse the full Rare Tapes & Records collection here.
