The trailer for ‘Rave On’, a new German-language drama centered on the Berlin techno scene, has been released before its screening at the Cannes Film Market.
Directed by Nikias Chryssos and Viktor Jakovleski, the film follows a musician on a one-night odyssey through Berlin’s club culture. It stars Aaron Altaras and Clemens Schick, with cameo appearances by Hieroglyphic Being and Berlin-based DJ Lucia Lu. Filmed during real club nights, the movie aims to portray an authentic vision of the city’s iconic nightlife.
Described by producers as “a love letter to techno music and Berlin nightlife,” ‘Rave On’ was acquired by Munich-based agency The Playmaker and is expected to reach wider audiences following its Cannes debut.
