Sixtoagusto releases visceral debut album ‘El Mono’

Mexican artist Sixtoagusto has released his debut studio album, ‘El Mono’, which is out now via Satélite Records.

Spanning nine original tracks, ‘El Mono’ immerses listeners in a raw and hypnotic soundworld shaped by techno, indie dance, EBM, and acid. Built on gritty synth textures, deep basslines, and organic percussion, the record channels an instinctual energy — equal parts industrial and human. The narrative progression of the album traces a path from chaos to liberation, with standout cuts like ‘Lazer Six’, ‘Como la Humedad’, and ‘Noches Largas’ deepening the journey.

Sixtoagusto’s own ethereal vocals feature throughout, adding a surprising emotional thread — “a voice from within the instinct itself.” ‘El Mono’ is described as an album that sweats, prowls, and moves in the dark.
