Vintage Music Label presents ‘Commonplace’ — a collaborative release that brings new life to a long-forgotten song by UK songwriter John Russell. Originally written years ago and left unreleased, the track has been reimagined by Brazilian producers Stark D and Dashdot.

Rediscovered by Stark D in 2021 while digging through archived material, ‘Commonplace’ has been transformed into a dancefloor-ready anthem. With John Russell’s soulful vocals at its core, the track is driven by a pulsating bassline and layered with dynamic synths from Dashdot, delivering a sound that bridges deep progressive techno with melodic house & techno.
