The Berlin record store Pleasure Patterns was broken into overnight. According to the team, around half of the equipment is missing.

Among other things stolen were record players, headphones and mixers. Pleasure Patterns is now asking the community for support. The store describes itself as Berlin's first lesbian-run record store with an integrated café.

The place combines vinyl culture, coffee and queer subculture and also serves as a space forDJ showcases. In addition to regular store operations, the team regularly organizes pop-ups and bar takeovers.

Pleasure Patterns also performs at events in Berlin clubs and bars, including the Arkaoda and the Bar Neun. After the break-in, the team asks people to visit the store, buy records or vouchers or provide other support.

“We could use your support: Come by and visit us, say hello, buy a few records or a voucher or just give us a hug,” says the call. Donations are also possible.

“If you can donate, no matter how much, it would mean a lot to us,” writes the team. So far 1,814 euros have been collected. The stated goal is 3,000 euros, which currently represents around 60 percent of the required amount.

The call for donations runs until October 24, 2026. Donations can be made via PayPal. According to the information, the proceeds will help offset the loss of the stolen equipment.

In the comments, Pleasure Patterns receives support from the community. One user calls for people to keep an eye on classified ads: “Let’s all pay attention to whether things are offered for sale there.”

Another person expressed hope that the store was insured, writing: "This is terrible. I really hope you were insured...it's a good idea these days."
