Ibiza-based DJ and OuShe founder Santanna Oush has passed away

He was 38 years old.

Ibiza-based DJ and promoter Santanna Maria Ally, known professionally as Santanna Oush, has died at the age of 38 and has been identified per multiple news sources as the person who died at the UK’s Houghton Festival on August 9th, 2026.

A coroner’s inquest into her death opened on August 18th, with a full hearing scheduled for December 15th. A fundraising campaign has been established to support funeral expenses.

Born in London, Ally maintained a two-decade career behind the decks before relocating to Ibiza, where she established herself as a prominent selector across the island. Over the past year, she performed at notable White Isle venues including Pikes, elrow, [UNVRS], and La Discothèque, alongside organizing community open mic events at Las Dalias.

Ally gained widespread recognition as the founder of OuShe, a platform and event series dedicated to championing women in electronic music. In 2025, she expanded the initiative with the OuShe Radio Show on Ibiza Sonica Radio and spoke at the International Music Summit.
