Nora En Pure has returned to her Enormous Tunes imprint with ‘Burning Up’, a new collaboration with vocalist Orem.
The track combines classical influences with melodic house, building around Orem’s vocal performance, delicate instrumentation, and a rolling groove. The release follows Nora En Pure’s previous original ‘Don’t Wake Up’ with Richard Walters, as well as her official remix of HAYLA and Nelly Furtado’s ‘Faded’.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the release, Orem says: “‘Burning Up’ is an ode to devotion – the sheer force of unconditional love, how formidable it can feel, how searing and all-consuming. As someone who tends to write from a place of melancholy and ambiguity, it feels very different, and I’m so happy to have it out in the world with the wonderful Nora En Pure.”
Orem has previously collaborated with artists including ATB, R3HAB, Nu Aspect, IMANU, Le Youth, Lane 8, ZHU, Boris Brejcha, and Dimension. According to the supplied material, her catalogue has accumulated more than 300 million streams since her debut solo release in 2023.
‘Burning Up’ also follows a run of performances by Nora En Pure across the US, New Zealand, and Australia, with further shows scheduled across Europe, Canada, and the US.
