Richie Hawtin and contemporary artist John Gerrard are joining forces for a 24-hour experience at FVTVR in Paris, taking place from October 24th to 25th, 2026, during Art Basel Paris. The collaboration brings together digital art, electronic music, and club culture across two interconnected events.
The experience begins on October 24th at noon with ‘INFIN.1.IRIDESCENT.STREAM’, a digital art installation by John Gerrard accompanied by an original sound composition from Plastikman, the alias of Richie Hawtin, created with Bronze.ai. The installation will be open to the public free of charge until midnight.
The opening program also includes a conversation between Hawtin and Gerrard, moderated by Marc Spiegler, exploring the ideas and creative processes behind their collaboration. The project is executive produced by Martine d’Anglejan-Chatillon and Jim Martin.
At midnight, the program transitions into ‘MINUS+ / SPIRITS’, a 12-hour party curated by Hawtin. Running until noon on October 25th, the event features performances from Richie Hawtin, Matador, Courtesy, Kristin Velvet, and Reece Pritchard.
Alongside the music, Gerrard will present ‘SPIRITS’, an art installation and live performance featuring Ana Osj. The work was originally commissioned by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) through its Art + Technology Lab.
Both events take place at FVTVR, located at 34 Quai d’Austerlitz in Paris.
Admission to ‘INFIN.1.IRIDESCENT.STREAM’ is free. Tickets for ‘MINUS+ / SPIRITS’ are available here.
