Cesar Borra and Afetim are also part of the package.
Valentin Ciancio has expanded his recent Interview Tapes project with a four-track remix release on Madloch’s 3rd Avenue.
The new package features contributions from Shaun Nolanh, Thaddeus X, Cesar Borra, and Afetim, building upon Ciancio’s recent transition from his former Cocet alias. The original tracks, ‘Paul’s Tape’ and ‘Quincy’s Tape,’ utilized archival vocal elements from the Joe Smith Collection at the Library of Congress to establish a personal artistic direction.
Shaun Nolanh and Thaddeus X deliver contrasting interpretations of ‘Paul’s Tape.’ Meanwhile, Cesar Borra and Afetim provide fresh perspectives on ‘Quincy’s Tape,’ incorporating deep, progressive, and ambient textures native to the Sound Avenue extended family.
Ciancio’s latest effort follows his 2025 output and initial 3rd Avenue introduction earlier this year.
‘Interview Tapes (Remixes)’ is available now. Stream and download here.
