Mexican DJ and producer SÜSS makes her EG debut with EG TECHNO.163, delivering a techno session focused on percussion, repetition, and sustained rhythmic movement.
Drawing from classic techno and experimental production techniques, SÜSS combines analogue hardware, modular synthesis, and detailed sound design in her work. Her performances have taken her from Mexico’s club circuit to international stages, including appearances at Bar Américas, EDC, and Dreamfields.
Her latest EP, ‘BASALT,’ consists of three original productions inspired by volcanic formations, ice, and coastal environments. The project incorporates field recordings and analogue production processes to explore movement, natural forces, and rhythm.
For EG TECHNO.163, SÜSS brings that approach to a selection that moves between stripped-back percussion, hypnotic sequences, and atmospheric tension. The tracklist features music from Lowerzone, Non-specific Defence System, Alessandro Grops, Héctor Oaks, Phil Berg, NAIMO, DHV2, KUSS, Chlär, Bidoben, Vilchezz, BENZA, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Volster, Karenz, and Juan Sanchez, alongside her own production ‘Skafta’, taken from ‘BASALT’.
