Sophie stands for uncompromising techno sets in prime time and has regularly played side by side with national and international top acts since the start of her career. Whether in renowned clubs — including, to this day, as a resident at the legendary Palazzo events — or at festivals, Sophie confidently brings every dancefloor to a boil with her driving sound. Readers of Fazemags have also repeatedly voted her into the Top 20 of the year-end polls. But she doesn't just know her craft behind the DJ booth. Sophie has also earned accolades as a producer. Her releases can be found, among others, in the playlists of global player Richie Hawtin, Drumcode artist Mikael Jonasson, and the Knarzmaschine Thomas P. Heckmann. She can look back on collaborations with scene heavyweights such as Eric Sneo, Adrian Hour, Niereich, Lexy, Stanny Franssen aka G-Force, and D.Diggler. Not least, Sophie Nixdorf is also successful with several handpicked releases on her own label You Are Strange. The eponymous party series was also recently launched. Sophie can never sit still for long; she is constantly on the lookout for new ideas and projects. In 2018, further releases together with Eric Sneo, ASK:ME & Bedrud, Sascha Ciccopiedi and Matt K appear on her label You Are Strange.
