Robert Hood and Radio Slave mark Rekids’ 300th release

‘Radio Hood’ arrives October 16th as part of the label’s 20th anniversary.

Robert Hood and Radio Slave have collaborated for the first time on ‘Radio Hood’, a two-track release marking both Rekids’ 300th release and the label’s 20th anniversary.

Set for release on October 16th, 2026, the collaboration moves beyond the pair’s associations with minimalism through maximalist textures and sweeping synths. It also marks Hood’s first release since his 2021 EP ‘The Blueprint’.

“When two creative minds align, miraculous things can happen. It’s been an absolute privilege to collaborate with Radio Slave and contribute something meaningful to the culture,” Hood said.

Founded by Radio Slave and James Masters in 2006, Rekids has released music from artists including Mr G, Peggy Gou, Eddie Fowlkes, DJ Deep, and Nina Kraviz. Hood has also maintained a relationship with the label through remixes, EPs, and an LP since 2015.
